Cameron Niven
Cameron is a highly regarded and sought after legal practitioner known for his pragmatic approach and ability to assist clients in a broad range of areas. He has experience in employment, commercial, workers’ compensation, and workplace health and safety matters.
Cameron commenced his legal studies while serving full-time in the Australian Defence Force (Army) as Military Police, posted to 1 MP BN, A Coy. While serving, Cameron assessed the Military Police’s operational procedures and assisted in the modernisation of foundational learning provided to Military Police, which was later adopted into the Military Police Basic Course.
Cameron enjoys working on complex and technical matters and is often called upon to provide last-minute strategic advice to assist parties in resolving or moving forward in litigation. His experience in the law is broad, having worked as a Legal Advisor to the Workers’ Compensation Regulator and later as a Senior Corporate Advisor to Apple.
Cameron’s diverse background and knowledge of the law allow him to provide a unique and comprehensive perspective to his legal practice. His wide-ranging expertise allows him to provide practical solutions to his client’s legal needs, while his background positions him to handle matters with precision and insight.
Within his legal career, Cameron has worked closely with Government, providing independent legal advice and representation to Government bodies while seconded, and also in private practice. Before commencing Tailored Legal, he worked as a Senior Associate at an international law firm based in the United Kingdom.
